Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be automatically forwarded to our secure payments page where you can complete your payment details.

Please note that our minimum order value is £7.50.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and debit card payment. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items and future release pre-orders are not charged until they are shipped.

If you prefer you can pay by cheque, made payable to Eagle Models. You may print the checkout screen, ensuring that you have included the postal costs, and post this with your cheque to Eagle Models, 22 Mowbray Street,
Epworth, Doncaster, DN9 4HR.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice on dispatch of your parcel. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the exceptional case of an unforeseen change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

We offer regular discounts on certain accessories and decal sheets when you buy these at the same time as ordering your kit. Look for the discount accessories boxes to the right of the product in the catalogue pages. You MUST TICK EACH OF THE BOXES for the accessories you want BEFORE clicking on the 'add to basket' button. Your kit and the accessories will be added to the checkout and your discount will be calculated automatically in the checkout. If at any time you make a mistake or wish to change your selection and want to go back - simply go to the 'view basket' button, click the delete box on the right of the basket entry, and then click update to remove the item(s). You can then go back to the catalogue and re-enter your selection or continue shopping.

Pre-orders are always discounted by 5% and the discounted price appears next to the product. Where the retail price is not yet known by us you may still order and we guarantee that that the item will carry a final price of 5% less than the retail price whien the item comes into stock.
Shipping And Handling We dispatch orders via Royal Mail delivery in the UK and by airmail to Europe and the rest of the world.

Occasionally we may post items by recorded delivery at no extra cost. Please note that as an additional security we only dispatch goods to the payment cardholders address.

Delivery Schedule We aim to send your order to you in 1 business day for goods in stock. This does not apply of course when the UK postal service is not available on Sunday and public holidays.

Where our dispatch times fall behind this target we will let you know on our home page.
Back Orders We do not accept automated web site back orders, however we are always able to obtain a vast range of items which do not appear on our web site by special order within 1-2 weeks. Please let us know by e-mail if you wish us to order anything in particular for you.

If an item is not in stock we are always happy to take a special order via telephone or e-mail and we will contact you as soon as it arrives. In these circumstances we will not debit your payment until your goods are with us and ready for dispatch.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK and the European Union (The Eurozone), 17.5% VAT is added.

For orders from other countries, tax is DEDUCTED automatically at the checkout stages and the final invoiced amount will be NET OF TAX.

Please note that due to layout considerations we display all our prices in Pounds Sterling and INCLUSIVE of VAT at 17.5%.
Credit Card Security The checkout pages are encrypted on our secure servers to ensure the safety of your personal and financial information.Your information is NOT held in clear text on any web site and no references to your financial information is held in any way on the Eagle Models site or systems.
Guarantee At Eagle Models we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and our standard of service. We are on hand to answer any queries or complaints about products and services and we urge you to get in touch by e mail, telephone, or you can write/fax us if you need us to resolve any issues you have. Your rights are covered by the Sale of Goods Act and the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

In addition to your general consumer rights under the Sale of Goods Act, you have specific rights and protection under the Distance Selling Regulations since our transaction takes place via the internet or via mail order.

Specifically:

We guarantee that goods will be delivered within thirty days unless agreed otherwise. This is the maximum allowed by the above legislation but at Eagle Models we work to much shorter dispatch and delivery times and in practice you will receive your order within 1-2 days of dispatch in the UK. Check our dispatch time guarantee on our home page.

We guarantee your right to have a cooling off period in which you can withdraw from our contract for any reason. The cooling off period begins as soon as the order has been made and ends, in the case of goods, seven working days after the day of receipt of the goods.

Where you notify us in writing that you wish to cancel the contract, we will refund you all monies paid within thirty days of us receiving returned goods at our address.
